Will I be motivatd to work for money or for the love of my job?

My future job will be one I can feel comfortable with. I have my mind set on being a clinical psychologist at the moment. Although, there are plenty of other jobs I am very interested in such as a marine biologist, a vet, an art teacher, or a special effects makeup artist. There are so many choices yet all that really matters is that im happy with the career that I choose to pursue. I don’t want to live the rest of my life working in something I have no interest in whatsoever no matter the amount of money. As long as I can put a roof over my head. After all I will be working till the day I die. I prefer to live a long, happy life doing something I love. Im sure many would agree to that, well thats unless you're like Mr. Krabs who only loves the money.

  1. I agree with you Jennifer. I was the same also between police officer, nurse or a kindergartener teacher. Its really hard to chose a career when schools pressure you in to pick a career. But I found out I really wanted to become a police officer without even knowing so I think soon you will find out what you really have the passion to do.

  2. I like your idea of doing what you love as your career, because many would actually do a stressful job for good amount of money. But i too would work for something i love than to work for the money. And you could basically consider yourself like Spongebob who works for the love of a Krabby Patty.

  3. I agree with you there are many careers to choose from but all that matters is that you're happy with your career. You don't want to be stuck in a job where the only thing that pulls you in is the money, You won't be happy there "unless you're like Mr. Krabs who only loves the money."

  4. I totally agree with you Jennifer, I was stuck in the same situation as you not knowing what I wanted to do. you just really got to sit down and imagine a career you would love to do and would never get bored of. I chose phycology and if your stuck now don't worry you'll figure it out.
